He won in the category flash talk at the 24th Heart of Europe bio-Crystallography meeting with his presentation "Effects of the Zn2+ to Cd2+ Exchange on the Structure and Activity of S1 Nuclease".
Jakub Hrubý is a final year MSc. student in the Laboratory of Structure and Function of Biomolecules, IBT, supervised by Petr Kolenko from the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, CTU Prague.
The conference was held in Dolní Vltavice, 22.-24. 9. 2022. The HEC conferences are annual meetings of some twenty research groups in the field of macromolecular crystallography from Germany, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic, with a focus on student talks.
